UFC Live Quick Results: Brendan Schaub Blasts Gormley in First Round

It didn’t take long for local crowd favorite Brendan “The Hybrid” Schaub to get what he wanted. A blistering attack on his helpless opponent Chase Gormley should all but guarantee his win makes it on the televised portion of the fight card.
Official time of death: 47 seconds in the first round.
Schaub had stated that he was not happy being relegated to the undercard. That shouldn’t be an issue in his next fight.
It appears Schaub has fully shaken off his TUF 10 finale KO loss to “Big Country” Roy Nelson.
So what’s next for the former NFL player and TUF 10 star, who picked up his first official win inside the octagon?
While Schaub has some work to do, he certainly looks to have the tools needed be a top ten fighter in the heavyweight division, sooner rather then later.
